FAQ

How many points should I assign tasks?

It really depends on you. Assign fewer points for tasks that are easily completed, and more points for more difficult items. For example, doing laundry could net you 10 points per load. If you have to drag your dirties to the laundromat and sit around for an hour until it finishes, allow yourself more points for the extra effort. It is a good idea to keep tasks on the lower end of the point spectrum. You'll be surprised at how fast it adds up!

How many points should I assign rewards?

Again, this is up to you. Try to keep reward points in relation to your tasks. Using the example above, how many loads of laundry would a cup of coffee be worth to you? Perhaps four loads is worth one cup, which makes it 40 points. Rewards should be at the higher end of the points spectrum. Ending up with too many reward points ends up becoming a chore in itself trying to spend them.

What will stop me from cheating and giving myself eleventy-billion points for taking out the trash?

Nothing. If you want to cheat, then go ahead. Unfortunately, this won't help you become a more productive person and that is probably why you downloaded this app in the first place.
